AI Tools Guide

At ADVEX, you can use AI to help you learn. You must not use AI to do your assessed work for you.

Which tool to use

1. ADVEX AI Tutor (the floating button on every LMS page): ask about your course content or about ADVEX programmes, fees and intakes, get a revision quiz, check your draft against the brief and marking guide (it asks you questions; it does not write for you), and practise job interviews. You can speak your question and listen to the answer in English or Thai.
2. Gemini: general questions, ideas for your research, improving your CV, and interview practice.
3. NotebookLM: upload your readings and ask questions about them. It can also make audio overviews, video overviews and mind maps.
4. Google Docs, Slides and Vids: write, present and make short videos for your learning activities.

Sign in with your ADVEX account

Always sign in with your @campus.advex.ac.th account. With this account, your data is protected: it is not reviewed by people and is not used to train AI. Your personal Gmail account does not have this protection.

You may use AI to

• understand ideas, theories and command words
• revise and test yourself
• plan your study time
• practise interviews and presentations

You must not use AI to

• write, rewrite or paraphrase any work you submit for assessment
• answer quiz or exam questions for you

Before you submit an assignment, you will confirm a learner declaration. Your work is also checked for plagiarism and AI use. If you are not sure what is allowed for a task, ask your Human Tutor.
